Peptidci

Peptitler (Grekçe: πεπτίδια; “ıvır zıvır sindirilebilirler”) teşhismlanmış bir düzende, α-amino asitlerin birbirine bandajlanmasıyla oluşan gücük polimerlerdir.[1] Bir amino asit lafıntısı ile ötekisi arasındaki bağ bir “amit bağ” veya peptit bağı olarak bilinir.[1]

Tetrapeptit (Oligopeptit)
Proteinler polipeptit molekülleridir (veya çok adetda polipeptit zir birimi çitndırır). Taban başkalık peptitlerin gücük, polipeptitlerin/proteinlerin ise uzun olmasıdır.[1]

Protein sentezi esnasında her amino asit, sair amino asite kalıcı, kırılmayan bir polimer olan polipeptid zincirleriyle bandajlanır. Polipeptid konstrüksiyonsına zalimlan amino asitlerin her biri konstrüksiyonya peptid bandajlarıyla bandajlanır. Peptid bağının oluşumu esnasında amino asitlerden birinin amino grubu ile diğerinin karboksil grubu, aradan bir sutaş çıkması sonucu birleşirler.[1]

Yaklaşık bir polipeptit zinciri 450 amino asitten oluşur.[1] Aşina en uzun polipeptit, yaklaşık 27,000 amino asitten oluşan, kas dokusunda bulunan “titin”dir. Polipeptid zincirine zalimlan amino asitlere lafıntı (residue) adı verilir.[1] Zincirin bir ucundaki lafıntı, bağ yapmamış, azade amino grubu çitndırır ve N ucu olarak adlandırılır. Aynı şekilde zincirin sair ucundaki azade α-karboksil grubu olan lafıntıya C ucu adı verilir.
